Terms of Service
PLACEHOLDER: review before launch. This is draft legal copy grounded only in PushPull's known mechanics. It has not been reviewed by counsel and must not be treated as final terms.
Effective date: TBD
The service
PushPull is a Slack app that turns a request, sent by DM or @mention, into a scoped proposal with budget, scope, timeline, and terms, delivered back in the same thread as an interactive message with Accept, Decline, and Discuss options.
Installing and using PushPull
Installing PushPull is free. There is no charge for sending a request, receiving an acknowledgment, or receiving a proposal.
Discussing and revising a proposal
Choosing "Discuss" on a proposal lets you reply in the thread to negotiate scope, budget, timeline, or terms. A revised proposal follows in the same thread.
Payment
You are only charged if and when you accept a proposal. Accepting raises an invoice with Stripe, our payment processor, which Stripe's Slack app posts in the same thread. Stripe processes the payment and handles your card details; PushPull does not receive or store them. [PLACEHOLDER: pricing model, refund policy, and dispute process TBD. These terms will be finalized alongside the billing implementation.]
Cancellation
[PLACEHOLDER: cancellation/refund terms after acceptance TBD.]
Acceptable use
Requests must not seek unlawful services. We may decline to generate a proposal for any request at our discretion.
Disclaimers
[PLACEHOLDER: standard "as-is" service disclaimer and limitation-of-liability language TBD. Insert reviewed legal language before launch.]
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as PushPull evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
